therefore be it resolved that the Environmental Advisory Committee formally supports the Parks & Recreation Committee’s CoastReach Citizen Science Program, and recognizes it as a vital initiative for ecological stewardship, public engagement, and coastal resilience, and Further, that Environmental Advisory Committee encourages collaboration among municipal departments, educational institutions, community organizations, and local residents to support, expand, and sustain the CoastReach program into the future.
