it resolved that Council move into a closed session in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Act - Section 239(2)(e) and Section 239(2)(f), with respect to litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the Municipality, and for the purpose of receiving advice that is subject to solicitor / client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

That leave be granted to introduce a by-law and to dispense with the reading of the by-law by the Clerk to confirm the proceedings of the Special Council of the Municipality of Port Hope at its special in-camera meeting held on February 20, 2024 and the same be considered read and passed and that the Mayor and the Clerk sign the same and the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed.
