it resolved that Council moved into a closed session at 5:30 p.m. in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Act, 2001 S.O., c.25 in order to address matters pertaining to an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b) - (Confidential Human Resources Matter and CAO Recruitment).

That leave be granted to introduce a by-law and to dispense with the reading of the by-law by the Clerk to confirm the proceedings of the Special Council of the Municipality of Port Hope at its special in camera meeting held on February 4, 2025 and the same be considered read and passed and that the Mayor and the Clerk sign the same and the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed.
