WHEREAS at the Special Council Meeting held on October 8, 2024 Council considered Staff Report FS-15-24 regarding 2025 Community Grants and Donation Requests; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT staff be authorized to enter into a one-year extension of the current Foundational Funding Agreements with no change to funding levels; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the following organizations receive community grant funding in the amounts listed below to be included in the proposed draft 2025 budget: Community Care Northumberland - $10,000 Community Health Centres of Northumberland - $ 7500 Cultivate Community Non-Profit Services - $10,000 Hope Community Church - $ 2000 Northumberland Diverse People Coalition - $3000 Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank - $10,000 Port Hope High School - $2600 Port Hope Jazz Inc. - $5000 Port Hope United Church - $5000 Scouts Canada – 1st Port Hope - $2000 Sounds of the Next Generation - $5000 The Rose Quest Personal Care Initiative - $5000 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the following organizations receive donation funding in the amounts listed below, to be included in the proposed draft 2025 budget; Cobourg Highland Games Society - $2500 Northumberland Oral Health Coalition - $1000 Rotary Swim for Independence - $2000

That leave be granted to introduce a by-law and to dispense with the reading of the by-law by the Clerk to confirm the proceedings of the Special Council of the Municipality of Port Hope at its special Council Meeting held on October 8, 2024 and the same be considered read and passed and that the Mayor and the Clerk sign the same and the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed.
